Worth every penny! Our family has gone to BAH for almost 20 years and the staff and doctors have always treated us and our pets with great kindness and respect. Dr. Buck is an excellent doctor and has cared for several of our beloved pets, even down to their last moments. The staff know the pets and owners by name and we continued to go there even after moving to the downtown Tampa area. Worth the drive and whatever price for such great care!

I would go no where else! I discovered Dr. Buck and Bloomingdale Animal Hospital after many years with a well know established Animal Hospital in Tampa specializing in show dogs. My senior Labrador had developed a skin problem that after many dollars and repeated trips to the vet for years to no solution, I moved to Valrico and found Dr. Buck. Bloomingdale Animal Hospital is not the same used this place for over 14 years and watched it go down the tubes, i spent thousands of dollars at this place and had to move to a different vet. reasons were the level of care after the really good doctors left, the prices were way out of range, they overcharge for everything and the level of care has consistently gone down over the years, will not darken their doors again
They really care, Best Animal Hospital in the area This animal hospital is the greatest. By far the best service in the Riverview, Fishhawk, and surrounding areas. The staff is extremely friendly and the doctors are world class.
Take your family member somewhere else. I took our poodle there for many years and was happy the first 1/2 of his 14 year life. When I thought about boarding him there I was disgusted with the condition of the place. The prices are much more than other vets. I think they've lost touch with what the public demands for their family members
love them !!! we have been taking our pets to bloomingdale animal hospital for several years. my dog was very sick when dr buck easily diagnosed her spleenic mass. his recommendation for quick surgery saved her life. they have always been very understanding and extremely nice to my entire family (both 2 and 4 legged). my dogs drag me into the building because they know they will be babied by everyone who seems happy to had out dog cookies. the prices are very comparable and if anything seem to have gone down over the last co... read more
Not a great place We went here right after moving to Fishhawk...we needed a vet for our dog and this is the first one we went to. Toured the boarding area and was so sad at the little cages they were kept in. Ended up at Boyette animal hospital...100% better...
Love this Place!!! My cat passed away in January 2008. I got him in Ashland, Ky in 1986. His name was Junior or "June Bug" . We lived in Apollo Beach and was referred by Ruskin Animal Hospital because our "million dollar kitty" kept getting blockages and at the time Bloomingdale Animal Hospital had the only doctor who would operate on him.
