When I removed my birth control and started planning for pregnancy my gynecologist from Rockville Gynecology (who I love and trust so much) HIGHLY recommended Bloom OB. I found out I was pregnant July 27th and immediately called Bloom on July 28th. They said they are a small practice and have to check with their coordinator to see if they could take me on as a patient. They said this "review" process would take up to 3 weeks and I would hear back from them whether it was a yes or a no. I expected to hear from them August 18t... read more
Avoid this practice. As a patient of 10+ years, it pains me to say their care has sharply declined. I had to cancel a mammogram—scheduled six months in advance—because the office failed to respond to an insurer’s verification request sent a month prior. I have loved bring a patient at Bloom for the past eight years! I have had three babies with them and had wonderful experiences with all the providers at Bloom. I recommend them to everyone!
I’ve been a patient at BloomObgyn for six years. The doctor who delivered my first child had moved here so I started at Bloom when I was six weeks pregnant with my second. They put in place a "screening process" for new patients, but somehow it takes them a month or more to determine if they will accept you. In my case (and most others I would assume), that meant delaying care. It's an opaque process, they won't proactively share updates or timelines with you, and overall it left me with the impression that this is ... read more
