I got orthodox they were made wrong 2 times. Doctor himself said they were wrong. Now won’t fix or refund my money.
As a healthcare provider, I am aware of proper bedside technique standards. Dr. Bloom has a pleasant personality. However, he does not explain the procedure to this patient. Instead, he stated to me, 'I am not going to teach you how to perform surgery'. I simply wanted a clear explanation of what the surgical procedure entailed so as to understand how the repair would be performed. I needed treatment for tarsal coalition and severe flat feet. His first initial statements to me were " your feet are so flat I thought you were a duck, I'm surprised you didn't quack". I do the best that I can with this severe Disability. And As a new patient, do you think that's a good introduction? Not professional !! Arrived a bit early and waited about 20 minutes (10 minutes past the appointed time -- not unreasonable) before my name was called. Dr. Bloom's assistant was pleasant and efficient taking my vitals and x-rays. Waited less than 5 minutes before Dr. Bloom came in. He was pleasant and put me at ease. Very knowledgeable and understood my somewhat complicated problem well. Dr. Kenneth Bloom is a consummate professional. He is direct, has a tremendous ly positive "bedside manner", dispenses dependable advise when asked, does not side step or avoid any issues however grim the possibility, and absolutely knows his craft of Podiatry and illnesses such as Diabetes. At no time did I ever feel any pain or discomfort.
This was the most unethical experience and my worst nightmare. Dr.Bloom used chryo treatment on a wart directly above the ball of my foot. I am in now in daily, constant pain as I walk. The blister that formed got infected and took 6 weeks to finally heal. I was never instructed on post chryo care.. .The acid treatment on my other two warts did absolutely nothing. I repeatedly asked if the treatment was covered by ins. i was told yes. One month later I was billed out of pocket. Karma Dr. Bloom!!
