Dont go on Monday morning. I use the Stanford Blood draw center because lobotomists are excellent and the clinic is well staffed and clean. If you can make an appointment on the Stanford my health app, you will be in great shape, so plan ahead. I usually drop in. Monday at 11am, had an hour wait. Still better than most blood draw facilities around.

I had a great experience at Stanford for my blood draw. The wait time was only about 10 minutes. Typically, my veins are difficult to locate, but Alex found the vein quickly and with ease. The procedure was completely painless — I didn’t even feel a thing. Alex was incredibly professional and skilled. Highly recommended!

There are times when this place runs well, and times when the wait time is unacceptable. They frequently staff the desk with only one person, so when a patient's order requires special attention, the line backs up (there are 10 people in line as I write, and the line hasn't moved in 30 minutes). They also don't collect samples at the front desk, so you have to navigate the first line, then wait for them to call your name for collection (sample collection and blood draws are in a single queue). I was walking to the main lab draw station at 2589. The receptionist told me that I had to wait at least 45 minutes. She suggested that I go to 2585 instead, as it’s much faster. I only waited 15 minutes there. The service was good and saved my time.
