I've been donating for about 7 years and I've never been told I need to "relax" when getting my finger pricked for a sample. (The tone of voice bothered me.) They also didnt tell me to help myself to the snacks as usual so to me, culturally, it felt weird to grab anything that day. I actually like how small the place is and how open the tech was in conversation otherwise. I think I'm just too used to the mannerisms at the main branch to get used to how lax this location operates.
