Owner Amy Safin came up with the name from listening to the rock group Blondie, and in August 2007 Blondie Salon was born. By January 2010 they had out grown the 611 location and moved their operations to Sarah Street. Blondie Salon has grown to have over 2,500 clients that consider the 'Blondie Salon experience' as the best in the area.

I am no longer in the area, but when I was, no one could nail my cut like Amy! What I would not do to get a cut by her again. She is amazing...

I'm not a girly girl salon and spa kinda woman and that's why I like Blondies so much. It's not over pretentious nor do I feel uncomfortable going there. On top of all that the stylists there have true talent. With all the different types of hair coloring going on from ombré to balayage they have their game on point! Falon is my girl but all the stylists are wonderful!

I moved to Williamsburg, Brooklyn & let me tell you to find a salon that cuts/color my hair like I'd like is extremely hard to find. Prices would be sky rocket and just not what I wanted. So I packed my bags back to visit my home and Blondies! I used to come here before I moved and this time I had a lady by the name of Falon. She was awesome and sweet! So extremely happy with my cut and color ! Will certainly be coming back! Great experience!
