We had an appointment mixup and we’re scheduled at the same time as someone else but the staff was really nice about it and it was easy to reschedule for just a couple hours later. Char is amazing. She has the kindest demeanor, creating a safe atmosphere but she also (gently) calls out problematic thought patterns or behaviors, helping you see exactly where you need to grow. They are horrible people at Blomquist. I have been seeing an awesome therapist for over a year, which Selecthealth from my old job paid for with no problems. But when I got a job with the U hospitals stupid Blomquist wont pay for the therapist because he does not have his full license yet. The person from Blomquist was so rude and dismissive and was just like just see one of our random "therapists". What is the big deal? So now I have to pay out of pocket for something that most other insurances in Utah would pay for. How ca... read more

I have worked with Cherrite Peterson for several months and am so grateful for her empathy and solid, practical advice that guided me through a period of grief and depression. I was initially apprehensive about asking for help but working with Cherrite was was such a comforting experience that I found myself looking forward to our meetings as the months went by.
