Pretty nice little space
We had a fabulous time at Block One Events. I really enjoyed being able to bring my own food. It made our potluck creative and affordable. Loved being on the river and it’s so charming at night with the lights.
The woman on the phone didn’t even let me finish my sentence when I called to inquire about rental prices. I asked if there was an additional fee for alcohol/alcohol service to be brought in for events and she cut me off and asked me how I was looking at price options and fees if no prices and fees are listed on their website. Put off and confused by this reply to an inquiry, I replied that they are actually on a website that compares rental prices and she said literally, “honey, you are simply calling the wrong venue then.”... read more
We had our wedding at Block One at the end of August & loved the venue. The event space is modern & spacious with a lot of natural light, so it was a lovely space to have our ceremony & reception in. We also loved the patio which allowed our guests to get some air & enjoy the view of the river. The downstairs lounge was the perfect place to get ready & had an awesome set up for our hair/makeup artists.
