I've called Block Lofts my home since 2014 & it's acquisition by Bell Partners last year has really improved the experience. Although the construction is a pain for everyone, at least the crews are true professionals. Especially when compared to the previous management company who hired shady unlicensed contractors. The improvement to the gym has been dramatic & I look forward to the unveiling of a brand new amenity - the pet spa! Don’t let the google ratings fool you - they are skewed by people giving 5 stars for the stellar maintenance man (per his request). Wayman rocks, but everything else about this complex…yikes. They raised my friend’s rent by $700/month out of the blue. Also your rent payment is going to be around $200 more than advertised. The only community amenities are the pool and the gym. The community lounge costs $400 if you want to use it for an event. Are there worse places to live? Yes, but I’m looking elsewhere.
BEWARE! Look elsewhere. Lived here for many years, and the water leaks, and poor structure of the building was disrupting my time here. You want peace and quiet? You're not going to get it here.
Beautiful property and I enjoy & appreciate the renovations they are doing. The property management seems to truly care about their residents which is evident through the numerous thoughtful events they have. Also, can't beat the location!
