A warm and homey Bristol “cottage mansion” is worth the drive north from Newport. Such a truly family abode has a rich history and not to be missed.
The Christmas decorations were beautiful, but I enjoyed the Butler’s Pantry.
Was there the end of September it was the worst dinner I ever had......not even enough food to feed everyone & running out of desserts.....Would NEVER RETURN there......for what they charged....Ruin our day!…………Stay away!

First visit to Blithewold Mansion and Gardens. Cannot say enough about this place. It is a photographers dream. Cannot imagine a more perfect location for a special event.
It was my first time there and I didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised by the house and the beautiful gardens.
