We just went for our second visit to Blithewold and we love it's simplicity and beauty. The interior is understated but rich in details of ornately carved wood and rich furnishing in rooms that are well described with cards and with a sound system that you can carry to hear descriptions. I love the flowers especially around the stone arch and then there is the hidden delight of an area that is much like a vignette from a Japanese garden.
Stunning !!! Beautiful gardens and ocean views . Me and my wife spent the entire afternoon here yesterday. Only place on the east coast to see a giant sequoia tree.
