Traveled from NH to tour the mansion and experience the daffodils and tulips. Although it was pouring rain the volunteers made our day memorable and enjoyable. Our lunch was served in the charming dining room on lovely China. Our guide, Susan was knowable and interesting and she led us through the gardens with a cheerful smile. I enjoyed the day and will go again on a sunny day.
Even though the weather didn’t support their opening day, the tour was wonderful and informative. Can’t wait to go back when everything is in bloom. I can only imagine how beautiful it is going to be.
I had my daughter’s baby shower at Blithewold Mansion on March 18, 2018. I can not put into words the elegance, beauty, professionalism and majesty that Blithewold offered to our family and friends. We had 68 guests and every one of them commented on the efficiency of the staff, the willingness to please and the phenomenal food selection.
