Worst hospital I’ve ever been to I do not recommend they will make you wait long hours and not help you after you have waited those long hours
My son’s surgeon Dr Alexander and his team of doctors; Dr Backowski, and their entire team of nurses and techs on the 3rd and 4th floors are simply the best there is. My son was hospitalized for two weeks with a severe case of appendicitis and the level of care that he received while at Blank Children’s Hospital Unity Point was above and beyond anything that I could ever have imagined. My daughter Naomi and I Was just there in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit yesterday and today..Our older Nurse with a short hair from Thursday was really really nice to us, unlike the others. The old Nurse who took us to take our medications this morning at the drugstore downstairs was very rude to me. She talked to me like I have a hearing problems. We were in the ER to just get bloodwork sent off for my 2 day old baby girl due to a newborn screen being flagged for a genetic disorder, then we were tricked into staying the night because they told us they just wanted to monitor her glucose levels. Once we got to the NICU Dr. Ablasi came in and without any empathy told us our daughter 100% had this genetic condition and she was bleeding out in her brain and she could die.
