Dr Turvey took the time and did not give up to diagnose why I had such severe pain in my right hip. I had been to 2 ER visits earlier and they both sent me home. If turned out that I had a Septic Infection in my hip and I needed surgery. Dr Turvey did a tremendous job of cleaning up the infection and his bedside manner was great. He took the time to explain what was needed and made sure I had the opportunity to ask questions. I would recommend seeing him for Orthopedic concerns. I am so grateful he was my doctor.

I met with Dr. Turvey at Texas Orthopedics to discuss my ongoing hip pain. An X-ray confirmed that I do have arthritis in both hip joints. We discussed various options, taking into consideration my age, how long I’ve had hip pain, the degree of pain I’m experiencing, etc. Dr. Turvey recommended starting with an injection to see if that would help alleviate the pain issue before attempting anything more drastic. Dr. Turvey has given me confidence in my ability to recover, given insight into his methods before carrying them out, and provided services very efficiently. Furthermore he is a great at maintaining boundaries and moving at your pace. Highly recommend.
