Dr Kimbrell is an excellent doctor and surgeon. I needed parathyroid surgery and he came very highly recommended in a hyperparathyroidism group I belong to. I am thankful he was able to see me, order tests, and perform my surgery. He cares about his patients and follows their recovery and progress carefully. He is currently working, along with my endocrinologist, to stay on top of my recovery and monitor the 1/2 parathyroid gland that remains. Poor bedside manner. Didnt listen. Was rushed. Didnt hardly assess. Will not be going back
In 2018 I was losing my hearing in 1 ear. I was coming back from a scuba trip and didn't have any problems involving that. But a few weeks after that I was losing my hearing in that ear. Apparently I contributed a virus and was losing my hearing. He diagnosed that I had a virus, said that he had a method of halting the damage, and I said yes, let's go for it! I took my wife to see Dr. Kimbrell at ENT Athens on October 18, 2023. She has a debilitating amount of earwax that clogs her hearing aids every day or two such that the ear pieces need to be cleaned and domes and filters switched (by me). This is a serious issue for a 72-year-old who has cognitive and hearing loss issues. Dr. Carter was cavalier, cleaned some wax out and said it was nothing to worry about.
