Excellent restaurant, service, and food. The crab cakes were perhaps the finest crab cakes I've eaten in 75 years I've eaten a lot of crab cakes. Only complaint (and a slight one) would be the very weak ice tea. Big plus was free onsite parking.
Celebrated my birthday there during brunch on Sunday, July 9th. Kerri was our server and she was AWESOME. Our entire party wore matching t-shirts and she wore one too! Everyone at BWH was so gracious and accommodating. The jazz band even sang to me. It was a GREAT experience.
I'm so glad that the first restaurant that we tried go go to didn't work out due to the hour long wait. We ended up coming back to Blackwall Hitch in which we passed on our way there. I'm so glad we did! Everything from the hostess, wait staff, to the ambiance and even more, the food was excellent!! I can't wait to visit again!
My family and I passed Blackwall Hitch on the way to another restaurant we'd been looking forward to, but there was an hour's wait, so we turned around and headed back to Blackwall Hitch. What a wonderful turn-around of events! Blackwall Hitch is absolutely lovely. We loved the decor, and it is so spacious with an upstairs as well. The food was delicious and filling! The staff were so pleasant and accommodating. We look forward to a return trip!
We attended the Fourth Of July Roof Top dinner. What a disaster. The flyer clearly states a rain date, however when I attempted to cancel at 730 due to the pouring rain they informed me I would be charged. The parking lot was blocked with cones which we had to get out of the car in the pouring rain to move in order to get into the lot. The food would way over priced for a Buffett Definitely wild not recommend and am embarrassed I got a group together to come this year.
Our dinner was delicious, the service was great, and the weather was perfect. A lovely experience, we will definitely be back!
