We were in town on business and wanted to have seafood for dinner. We found Blacksalt and couldn’t be happier! Our waiter was amazing… attentive and friendly. He happily recommended his favorite dishes which didn’t disappoint. We ordered the seafood cocktail appetizer and split the mussels. Without asking they split the bowl of mussels for us. I had the best meal, Ahi Tuna, that I can remember eating in Washington. Every morsel rang out loudly. My sister and brother in law invited me and 2 friends to dine at Black Salt (while still mourning the end of Black Coffee). I tasted an octopus appetizer served at the table. It was great, too. When we left Black Salt, I saw a sign indicating that, for the foreseeable future, Black Coffee customers can have their coffee at Black Salt. Game, set match.

The service here was exceptional! Couldn't ask for better service, in my opinion. The quality and presentation of the food far exceeded expectations. This was our first visit here, and for sure, it won't be the last. Make sure to explore options with the waiter on options not on the menu. This place went above and beyond to provide options to fit my daughters preference. Thank you for the great experience!
