Back in March of 2016, there was a beautiful black vulture downed in my pasture. I was able to catch him, and The Raptor Center took him in. He had been shot through his wing, and had to be put down, but not before the amazing people at Blackland Prairie tried everything they could to save him. I will never forget this facility and the amazing people who work there.
I had such a great time out there for there first Saturday. I couldn’t recommend going more.
