We took our 3 dogs for the first time on Saturday, and love that they are knowledgeable, reasonable priced, every one is friendly, kind, and helpful.
Kevin has been taking care of my horses for years and when I moved to Byron 7 years ago, I met Julia when I took my dogs there, I trust them completely and appreciate them so much!
I have had a SUMMER PLACE at Lake Louise 4 going on 30 years and lived in Chicago. Always has dogs so needed a vet out here also. Been going 2 BLACKHAWK ALL THESE YEARS......LUV THEM ALLLLLLLLL. Now I LIVE in Byron and still go 2 Blackhawk. They know ALOTTTTTT and if they can't help they WILL REFER YOU. MY GSD needed DOUBLE KNEE SURGERY LAST YEAR. I have been with Blackhawk veterinary services for 16 years. All due to Dr. Julia Sugden and Dr. Kevin were willing to make extra effort in making my 8 week old Rottweiler healthy again after another clinic wanted to put her to sleep. Today early in the morning I had to bring my other Rottweiler , she is a special needs girl and the staff has taken extra good care to make her feel safe enough to run tests without having to knock her out. Early this morning I woke up to my puppy having a seizure. I took him here since it was the closest vet to my house and was pleasantly surprised by the service here. The staff is all very friendly, the office is clean and the doctor is very knowledgeable. He thoroughly checked out my puppy and provided me with a lot of useful information. I will definitely bring my puppy here from now on.
We started taking our two goldens to Blackhawk when we moved to the area 11 years ago. We first went there because it was close by, but we return because of the great service. Whenever we call, the office team members have been very helpful. We have made a lot of visits and calls over the years and have always received good care.
