It said open for 24 hours, but when I tried to call to fix my Card it said closed
BUYER BEWARE! Irresponsible business practices and extensive delays in resolving customer issues. I was awarded a $700 digital Visa gift card from my employer through Blackhawk. I made two small purchases before the card began being declined. When I contacted Blackhawk, I was told the card had been compromised and someone else had used the remaining balance. This company is running scam. This is their scam: they issue a card, after the first purchase they lock your card, and told you the card is registered under different name. They even block you to check the balance. Then ask for a huge amount of informations(receipt, utility/phone bill, photo id with selfie) to unlock the card, and even if you provide it they will not remove the lock. Then they keep the funds for themselves. BHN is a scam.
Blackhawk Network administers the Debit Cards sent those in the Equifax class action settlement. For exposing my personal info all I got was a $7.44. The card is quite difficult to use as you can't split payments between two separate cards. You have to buy something for the exact amount or less. You can't buy gift cards either. If you don't use the card at some point they charge you a dormant acct fee until your balance goes to zero without you knowing.
