One of the most well-known restaurants on the Island, Blackbeards serves a diverse clientele, and for that reason it can get very busy during the tourism/spring break season. The menu contains a tempting mix of drinks (Strawberry Daiquiri, Rum Punch), sandwiches (Yellowfin Tuna, The Pearl - a fried oyster po' boy) and other seafood dishes (Ginger Teriyaki Tuna Steak, Stuffed Shrimp). Make sure to get Cheese Sticks with... well... everything! The restaurant opens at 11:30a everyday.

The appetizer: Calamari was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked and fried. Her main course: Catfish with Cornmeal breading was delicious and fish was fresh! My main course: Chicken Parmesan was alright, it was cooked well, but super greasy and soggy from sitting in its own grease too long before service. The fettuccine noodles were cooked perfect. For the price...I was expecting more all around but it was good and will probably go back
Food was extremely delicious and the service was beyond great, even whilst it was packed due to New Years Eve.
Love this place !! Every time I go , I get the oyster poboy !! Never been disappointed ! My son got the buffalo shrimp poboy and said it was fantastic !
Blackbeard's Restaurant is a great place to eat! They have great tasting food and their wait staff is excellent! I think this is the best place to eat on South Padre Island! Prices are very reasonable also.
Love Blackbeards!! Great food and the service is just as great!! The servings are huge. We love their blackened catfish, grilled shrimp, and their chicken fried steak is really delicious too! Ask for Kimberly or Jay!! They really take great care of you.
Amazing food and service! I would highly recommend that everyone try it!
