One of the most well-known restaurants on the Island, Blackbeards serves a diverse clientele, and for that reason it can get very busy during the tourism/spring break season. The menu contains a tempting mix of drinks (Strawberry Daiquiri, Rum Punch), sandwiches (Yellowfin Tuna, The Pearl - a fried oyster po' boy) and other seafood dishes (Ginger Teriyaki Tuna Steak, Stuffed Shrimp). RecommendedBrought our own fish in. Stuffed the flounder, grill and fried the speckled trout. Truly amazing!!! I cannot say enough about our waiter, on the ball and extremely courteous. A must stop for dining in SPI. Thank you for a great evening!

I had never been to Blackbeards before, but I shall soon return. The food was moderately priced and our seafood platter was very well served. I won’t be calling anyone stingy there. Our mahi-mahi could’ve used a little more seasoning and the stuffed crab could’ve used a creamier filling, but I still enjoyed it. Thank you for an awesome experience.
The starter appetizer was okay, not great but the main dishes are delicious! Got the plate with the 8oz sirloin steak and it was great! My husband got the Chili Cheese burger and said it was very good! So definatly coming back just for that! (:

The food was ok. Didn’t feel it was up to the standards the price would dictate.
Gulf shrimp the size of a soup ladle. Excellent service and quisine. We ate here 2 nights in a row.
