Ate here last night for Restaurant Week. In one word...AMAZING!!!
It was a nice place and the food was good but a little bland. The only bad part was that it took over 1 hour 15 minutes to get our food and It wasn't too busy. The staff was really nice.
I've had the pleasure of attending Black & Tan's preview of their summer menu at the "Tapas and Tasting" both this year and last. Each evening was phenomenal. Bailey is a delightful server who impressed me by remembering us from last year. The service overall is top notch, and the food? YUM. The tuna poke in particular stood out to me, but I thoroughly enjoyed everything: red snapper, chicken, lamb, duck and more. Consistently good. Thank you!
I have wanted to go to this restaurant for many years. I know high expectations can often lead to disappointment, but I cannot ignore errors at such a high price. The $5 additional charge for lobster bisque (that they later removed) can best be described as mac n cheese powder milk broth. They apologized only to present a poorly cooked duck breast, gummy fat and overcooked meat. As a whole, our entire table, had an issue with underseasoning.
