This was my first visit at black star and the service was excellent Ms Nina was awesome at the front desk the customer service was delightful....My hair dresser Ms Charise hooked me up my hair color came out beautiful and bright she created her own style in my hair and im a very satisfied customer....They have a new client.....By the way I recieved a same day appointment with no problem❤❤❤❤❤

I truly loved the atmosphere!!!! Corneila did a wonderful job with my hair color and Taz killed the style. I plan on bringing my husband and kids for future appointments.

I recently got my hair braided in the shop by Brittany. I was very unhappy with her professionalism. She was twenty five minutes late for both of my appointments. It was not because she was with another client she just had not shown up for work. She did not offered an apology or even provide the discount for being late that the salon was suppose to provide. She used 15 bags of hair on my braids by the time I got home my hair was so heavy I could barely hold it up. One braid has already fallen off in the back.

LOOOOOVE LOVE LOVE! I made my appt for my big chop with Taz and she was BEYOND amazing. The atmosphere is wonderful, the stylists are professional and keep you laughing for sure. Definitely will be back, no doubt about it! Thanks for making the beginning of my natural hair journey the greatest <3
