Went to South Haven this weekend. I had scheduled a paddle boat online. They called in the morning and said it was put away for the year. They offered us a 4 person dinghy. We really enjoyed it. Next time we would do 2 hours. I think they did give us a little extra time because we got to spend about 1/2 hour on Lake Michigan. Taking the river to the lake takes 20-35 minutes each way. Everyone that worked there was very friendly. Will go back if I go to South Haven again.
RecommendedWe have rented boats in many locations in the United States.BRBR went out of their way to accommodate our group. A rep met us in the parking lot and escorted to the boat. Upon our return, they also greeted us and asked us about our trip. The boat was in good shape and comfortable to operate. The only negative was having to refuel at the public dock. They only had one dispenser working and a very large boat was ahead of us leading to about a 30 minute ordeal before returning it. Despite that, the overall experience was excell... read more

I thought BRBR was great. They were friendly and courteous and were genuinely interested in making sure we had a good experience. They offered to go above and beyond to ensure our experience was great and it was. I highly recommend using them.

Wife and I rented a Dinghy for 2 hours. If you want to go out to Lake Michigan, you need to rent for at least 2 hours, as it takes about 30-40 minutes to get to the lake at no-wake speeds in the river. Dinghy is a great time for 2-3 people. When you give it some gas, the little boat can really take off. Though not as maneuverable as a "personal watercraft", the dinghy is very stable and you can walk around in it (when going at reasonable speeds, of course).
