The desk clerk at our hotel recommended Black Pelican to us. His recommendation was spot on, the food was delicious.
I had the meatloaf, everything was great except for the string beans. The string beans taste like they are directly from a can. The meatloaf was great but kind of cold temperature wise. The mashed potatoes are great but the gravy is salty. My server was very attentive. I will go back and when I do I will request for my meatloaf to be hotter and no gravy on the mashed potatoes. Overall experience was ok.

always love coming here... food is awesome. Dinner tonight......pork shank in raspberry sauce perfect.......with perfect company, my two favorite men. What could be better.
Broiled and fried crab cakes were both amazing. The sauteed seasonal vegetables and gouda mashed potatoes were excellent as well.
