Excellent food, huge portions, and attentive service, it’s no wonder that the Black Pearl has become one of my favorite places in Galveston. Whether it’s the Fried Shrimp Poor Boy or the Boudin Balls or the Muffuletta I’ve never been disappointed with the food.

wonderful cajun. dumb waitress. I asked if the owners were cajun (they had to be, it was that good...) she replied she didn't know what peace they were. I can't make this up if I tried.
