This place and the owner are worth the try. The beer and the food were outstanding. Then dessert was definitely delicious. Do not be fooled....this place is a diamond and people know about but it well worth the wait. Deffently be coming back.

Detroit Hip Hops is amazing, and probably one of the best local brews I've had. Fish n' chips are tasty. Good. Good. Good!

If you like a great burger this is the place to go. Their drink menu is extensive and their home brewed beers are great. My boyfriend orders an IPA every time we go out because that's all he drinks and he said the one they brew at Black Lotus was one of the best he's ever had. Service was amazing and the manager Jason talked with us and was great company. I would recommend this place to everyone - can't wait to go back!
Was in clawson for a weird 40's event. Decided to give the BL a try. Beer was fantastic and the food was perfect pairing pub fair. Had a giant burger, wife had salad. She ate half my burger though cause it was so good I should have never gave her a bite. Came for the new gin barrel saison i heard about but they didn't have it : ( . Will be back for sure staff was great, even thought they were really slammed, manager was extremely helpful suggesting other breweries in the area too and very knowledgable about beer.
