One of the few true venues of local music within Metro-Detroit. I look forward to the second location opening... And did I mention they are an award winning brewery with a diverse assortment of tastes, sure to please every palate? Well, there you go. Open mike night every Monday, music events weekly. Beer and food, daily.
Excellent homemade corned beef, solid beer, and very nicely put together liquer drinks. Wait staff was pretty fast, and friendly. I'll definitely plan to return.
Whenever I have out of town friend talk of "east coast" breweries, I take them to Clawson and completely blow their minds with the absolute craftsmanship that goes into the food and beer at the Black Lotus.

Black Lotus is a clean environment with a great Pilsner beer. Their nachos are great! Waiters/waitresses are very helpful with beer selections.
They don't serve liquor and there was no actual Black Lotus on site, but the food was fantastic and the fancy beer options plentiful.
