I have gotten both of my tattoos from this shop - my first by Frank and my second by Scott. March 11th, my husband, sister and law, and I got tattoos by Scott and we are all in love! Can't wait to come back later this month for another one. Reasonably priced, professional, clean, and friendly. Had some fun conversations that make it more relaxed.
I was in yesterday and was able to work with Frank and your guest tattoo artist from Japan. I don't know how to spell his name. I was very satisfied with my tattoo and very pleased with the artist from Japan. He was very, very particular with his work and did a great job. Thanks guys I will be back!!

I love Black Ink Tattoo in Crystal Lake and was just there getting tattoo #3 on Friday Feb. 24th. Dan (the owner) is a guy I met a while ago before he owned that shop. He has done 2 of the 3 tattoos I have (I met him while he was tattooing my friend and I was getting tattooed by another guy at the shop he was working at). Today i went in to black ink tattoo and had the best experience everyone in that shop is so nice and treated me with the utmost respect! I went in to get a tattoo for my grandfather who passed away a year ago today and there are no words to explain how grateful i am to frank that he did as great of a job as he did!! I've been here for 3 of my tattoos and always had a great experience! my sisters and I went in yesterday for matching tattoos and we had Scott and he was super nice and fun to talk to! he made the 4 hours there great :) will always recommend this tattoo shop to everyone!! <3
