I joined Black Infant Health expecting to find community support and participate in postpartum group sessions, as highlighted on their website. Unfortunately, that experience never materialized. The group sessions that were presented as a core part of their program were never provided, which felt misleading and disappointing. My experience with the case management was also underwhelming. They supported me through my whole pregnancy and afterwards as well. I was given multiple resources including a doula. They incorporated me into a mom group which helped me feel a sense of community.
