Black Hive is hands down the best tattoo parlor town, SUPER clean and Nick Wagner is a gifted artist. Black Hive Tattoo is a great shop has some pretty cool people there. Unfortunately for me I didn’t have the best experience with Colby, I had a good consultation with him beginning of march and set an appointment for 3 weeks after but a few days after the consultation I had some personal problems come up and I messaged him to reschedule, well he didn’t respond. Matt was very hip and cool. Good tattoo man.
All I had to do was walk in the door and I knew the vibes were correct. Matt really took care of me and so patient with me while deciding what I wanted. He was willing to workshop the piece (added color) and I love it. Shop is clean, artist are sweet and cool and all that jazz. There are cats outside! Cool merch and humans and tattoos inside! What’s not to love?! I will definitely be going back to Black Hive and I recommend that anyone wanting a cool piece done by some awesome people go there as well. :-)
I have been getting tattooed by Matt Moore for quite some time. His work is so amazing! He’s done a full sleeve, my spine and currently working on my leg sleeve. I give him an idea and he brings it to life! I love how cozy and clean Black Hive is too. Matt always makes sure to offer water and potty breaks no matter how short or long the sessions as well. Highly recommended!
