Black Hive Tattoo is an appointment only, custom only studio, NOT a walk in tattoo studio. *Repeat: We are NOT a meat grinder, turn and burn tattoo shop. All of our artists are encouraged to only do as many tattoos as they can realistically handle each day. If you as a client can give us the time we need to create your tattoo, we as artists will do our best to give you the best design possible. Matt is a great dude and a great artist. Gave exactly what I had been looking for and the process was easy as could be for a first time tat! Great clean work, great customer service, very happy I went to them for my first and would suggest to others.
The best in the business, not just Jax. Nice, inviting atmosphere, very neat and uncluttered shop and they hire only the best. Get on the waiting list asap!

Place was amazing, SUPER CLEAN, entire staff was extremely friendly and confident in their abilities and Matt Moore (and I’m sure the rest) absolutely delivered both my new tattoo and my fiancé’s. Lines are super sharp, shading on point, meticulous with cleanliness, and he was very efficient overall. Can’t wait to come back for my cover up on my other arm.
Devin did an AMAZING job on my lotus flower tattoo. I wanted something simple yet complex, and she totally nailed it.
