RecommendedFantastic and memorable experience! Aerial views of the beautiful Black Hills were magnificent! Entire staff from the moment we walked in were welcoming, friendly and courteous. Pilot Mike was stellar... informative, interactive and fun... loved every single second! Highly recommend with 5+ star rating!
This place was amazing! I have never flown on a commercial flight and had only been on an airplane ride when I was a little girl. I was absolutely petrified. They walked you through safety precautions and gave you opportunity to ask questions. Everyone was so friendly. I was able to make it through a whole flight and the pilot we had was awesome! The way he explained everything we were looking at was fantastic. I highly recommend this as something to do while on vacation in the black hills.
We chose #4 Rushmore/Crazy Horse excursion. We got the BEST pilot, Greg. He informed us before he did maneuvers, though as vets, this wasn’t the first time we’ve flown (though military choppers aren’t really in this category. No only a skilled pilot, Greg offered us tons of tips - excursion advice and ideas for area motorcycle-friendly roads. I recommend Greg and Mt Rushmore Helicopter Tours highly. Enjoyed checking a huge bucket list item off our list.

We were heading to Mount Rushmore during the 4th Of July when we heard the helicopter. So we stopped and watched and decided to go in to see if our two year could do it . Everyone was super nice , Mike our was pilot and was awesome ! The views were awesome !
my husband and I went to do the helicopter tours today we got up in the air and less than 5 minutes we had to come back because my husband was having a panic attack he's afraid of heights. I went on with my tour and it was fine my pilot was fantastic, however my husband got into the office the lady behind the counter rolled her eyes at him and gave him nasty looks made him so uncomfortable that he walked outside and waited for me to come back and would not go back in the building. we paid $500 for the two of us to go up and ... read more
