The food is amazing! This place is truly farm to table. Great service and amazing drinks! Must try chocolate hot wing and any featured special you can never go wrong.
Our son is a freshman at Elizabethtown College and we took him out to dinner tonight. Our daughter and her boyfriend joined us as well. It was an early anniversary celebration and just a celebration of family. The food was great; cocktails and beer were interesting and good; friendly service met all of the mask and required guidelines. We are definitely returning soon!

Toeny and the team at The Black Gryphon consistently deliver incredibly creative and delicious, locally-sourced food to a small town otherwise crowded with pizza joints and uninspired American fare. They are also committed to local art, featuring a rotation of local artwork hanging on the walls and a great lineup of original music (when we're not in a pandemic). I'm very glad to have found The Black Gryphon, and only wish I could get there more frequently!
My husband and I can't stop talking about how amazing and unique the food is! Burgers are perfectly cooked. I love that they use local ingredients. The beer selection is phenomenal! You have lifelong patrons in us. Also, the owner is a downright wonderful human being who openly supports progress and equality, which is hard to find in this area. Add that to the amazing quality of their food and we've decided that this is our go to place to eat out at!
The food is very tasty and quantities aren't overly large like some places. its just right. They have a huge list of imported alcohols and staff thats truly delightful. I definitely recommend the Black Gryphon!
