RecommendedI would highly recommend Black Goose Chimney. They are on the pricier end, but they will get the job done and they will do it well. We could not have fires in our fireplace because smoke would pour back in the house. Our original flue tiles were incorrectly installed (1950's house), so Ian and Joe spent three, eight hour days parging the inside of the chimney. Great information/inspection by Noah, Richard and Andrew. Very professional, courteous and informative.
We had them come out and do an inspection on our chimneys. The guy was very nice and seemed to know what he was doing. The problem we had was with the estimate. Over $18,000? Really? We know it was for two chimneys but this was twice what we were expecting. I'm sure they would have done a fantastic job for that.

Yesterday I needed to get a chimney inspection and have a damper replaced on short notice. Jim at Black Goose provided immediate assistance to handle my seller's needs. Once he determined the materials needed and verified they had in stock, he had men on the job and even sent photos of the job completion (which was a huge help since the other agent works from Virginia Beach). The seller and buyers are two very happy campers and closing today!! Thanks for such great service!!
