No love added to the food here. Very bad food! – First off....this is the first food review I have ever done. It is because this place was so bad as far as food. I felt the strong urge to warn people because it was so expensive and a major rip-off. Please understand, that I am not exagerating here and this is not just my opinion --this is the same words from all 5 of us that were there. apps: - crabcakes were very small and had a strong bad fishy taste. - catfish fingers were ok, but a measly little portion of them. - fried ... read more

Great Music...Service was terrible – Their Mother's Day Brunch was not what I expected. The food was ok, the service was terrible, it took the waitress 25 minutes to get me an orange juice, they ran out of plates 4 times!! and an 18% gratuity was included in our bill, I thought that was only for parites over 6 we were only 3. Over all it was not very well organized. I would not go back for the brunch. The only thing that was good, was the music.

Great music, but food and svc blues! – If you go for the music, you won't be disappointed. The layout is a bit awkward, but intimate, and the sound is excellent. Most seats have at least a partial view of the stage. The best seats are reserved for diners, the bar patrons are pushed to the back. If you want a good seat, get there early as the place fills up fast. The food, however, is mixed at best. I had the buttermilk batter fried chicken. The coating was wonderful although the chicken itself was a bit overcooked. The colla... read more

Editorial Review by Christy Buena – Live music, Cajun cuisine and tender ribs draw locals in for live entertainment, slow cooked meats and Jambalaya.

Tasty Grub! – Lunch with hubby on a Friday was fairly quick and very tasty. I had fried trout, which was piping hot and plentiful. My hubby had a BBQ samich w/ andouille sausage. Of course it didn't compare to Memphis.....hello, we're in CT! All in all, a great experience. Can't wait to hear live music in the p.m. in the very near future. :-)

Its about the music stupid – The food, New orleans style with southern barbecue, is much improved lately. Straitforward scene with the best blues bands around, and even some that aren't around. This place is fun and enaging - not for business suits or romantic evenings (unlees you're a hippie)
