Family Style Reataurant A great family restaurant where you can get a wide variety of meals as well as soups and sandwiches. They bring the most delicious corn bread and rolls. and the desserts are my favorite. Good value for the money.
Good Home Cooking Home cooking almost like moms. The meatloaf or the vegetable plate are my favorite. Wide selection of vegetables. This location never has much of a wait, you can get seated quickly.
Yummy! I love home cooking that I don't have to make. They have really good rolls and cornbread as well as anything your grandmother cooked for you as a kid. The food is good and the service is good.
Great family restaurant with consistently good food Black Eyed Pea. Only a Southern would understand this name for a restaurant, and it lives up to its name. Good Southern-style, family food. No matter what Black Eyed Pea you go to, you will always receive the same good food.
Can't believe this location is closing! We love The Pea! Been coming for over 30 years. Started dining at Black-eyed Pea at the first restaurant on Greenville Ave near SMU. Before that we ate at The Dixie House in Lakewood. Going to miss this place.
