This is one of my favorite stops in my mad and crazy day. The staff, the food especially, and the friendly atmosphere makes coming here special. Hence, I come back again and again. Try the quiche.....delicious! Or maybe the cupcakes ........ Any kind a cupcake you could imagine! And there are a few tables so you can "hang out" with friends while you enjoy a baked good and a cup of coffee. Great place. Always good music playing too!

I had always loved coming into Black Cat. I love their cupcakes, however the last time I was in there was horrible. I had my child with me. The young lady who took our orders was wonderful but a gentleman I was later told was the owner was screaming and yelling at an employee just out of sight. It was awful. This went on for a number of minutes. It was belittling and extremely offensive and frankly poor management. I thanked the girl kindly and let her know we would not be back.
My birthday is Dec 29 and i am 65. I decided a few years ago that enough is enough. NOBODY wants to celebrate a birthday 4 days after Christmas. Nobody wants cake or dinner out. So I decided to celebrate my half birthday June 29. I picked the restaurant and ordered my own cake. The cake I got at Black Cat was the best cake I have ever had. I got the chocolate cake with raspberry filling and chocolate frosting on top. The raspberry filling was amazing! So creamy with fresh raspberrys in it-very flavorful.
