I had reserved a room for the 30th of October and was stuck in Pueblo because of the snow storm we had, and some of the roads were even closed. I called that morning to to cancel my reservation because I was unable to travel due to the storm and was told that the new owner had no compassion and I would be charged for the room. It sounds like greed to me because they did charge me. RecommendedEric and Deedee treat you like family. BCM is literally the best motel in town. Don’t go anywhere else if you find yourself in Montrose!!!
The people running this are super nice. It seems relatively clean but there are bugs everywhere. I wouldn't stay here again, friends staying here say they have bugs in their room as well. Also the hot water is not hot, after 5 minutes it gets warmish.
I have family in Montrose and have been stayed here many times over the years. However, I have never seen the place as clean and well turned-out as it was this past weekend. I don't know if there's new ownership or management, but the folks there now are doing a very, very nice job, especially a housekeeper named Maria who added many personal touches in tidying up my room. I was happily surprised by all of this and look forward to my next visit! :)
Nice place, roomy rooms, east side of town, close to almost everything, renovated, lots of good dirtbiking around.
The room wa clean, good price and quiet. Staff was nice.
A nice easy to find location with friendly staff. Very clean Establishment. I will definitely stay again.
We had the opportunity to work with staff and owners and we have nothing but good thing to say about the establishment- ! They strive to keep their tenants happy with well cleaned and maintained accommodations I would definitely recommend staying at Black Canyon Motel!
