This place was awesome!!! The food was great, the view was terrific and our server, Becky, was Fabulous!!!! We had a wonderful time and enjoyed everything about the place, including the lovely ride up River Road to get there. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a really nice place to enjoy a great dinner!!
My husband and I have been going to the Black Bass for years. We actually got marriwd there. Most people aren't aware that behind the parking lot there is a beautiful little park where you can hold weddings. We did that and had our reception down stairs. People to this day still rave about our wedding and the wonderful meal. Highly recommend.
We spent our 30th Anniversary here. Lovely room with a river view. Delicious meals. Lots to see and do near by or just stay in and relax. The staff was warm and friendly. We had a wonderful weekend!

Excellent service and accommodation, our large party was managed without incident. Food was excellent, atmosphere rustic and entertaining, staff polite and helpful.
Flawless perfection and attention to detail. Butlered appetizers were the best some people had ever! Warm staff, outstanding wine, an amazing Suite Lorraine, delicious breakfast, stunning deck views with fire pits and heat lamps aplenty.....a glorious night
What a beautiful place! It’s so relaxing, the staff are all so wonderful and added to the serene atmosphere. We enjoyed ourselves so much we are still talking about it and plan on going more often once the downstairs bar opens in spring to sit along the river with friends, relax, share some wine and a lots of laughter. Thank you Black Bass for a wonderful and unforgettable birthday.
Great food, great accommodations, great staff, and a great neighbor. With no power in town we stayed at the Baxter Suite during a recent storm with dogs in tow. A wonderful relaxing suite with a great breakfast at the store. We didn't want to leave.
