RecommendedGood prices on many items. You do sometimes need to “do the math” to check if you’re really getting a good deal, but in most cases, you ARE getting a good deal! Buying in bulk saves me from having to shop more often — which is great for someone with disabilities such as myself.

I like getting deals on bulk items, however the self checkout system is not efficient in this type of setting. Today I was very annoyed that there was only one regular check out line open. It was very busy. The bulk items get jammed up on the belt and I was afraid I would be crushing the more delicate items. there is someone there to straighten them up a little bit but the process would be a lot more efficient with the customer putting items on the belt and a cashier scanning them and putting them into a new cart.
don't buy gas from here! we did and it had a lot of water in it! when we contacted them about it, their insurance company called us and said that the pumps were fine and there was no water in them so we have no claim. very shady company stay away!
While I love shopping here, the kids that work here need to learn more about the products and store. We have tried to buy the swingset sitting in the front of the store all summer. We were told we could buy it and then we were told it was sold and they put a sold sign on it. We just went in yesterday and there’s no sold sign on it just has a for sale sign on it. We are a family of 15 and we do love shopping there like I said but would really like to be able to purchase products and have people with knowledge!
Whats the Point of having a self check out if you take the scanners away and you can’t scan items using the gun? Also I have an app that has your card on it that you now can’t use in the store? Major inconvenience when I walk in with my iPhone which has my BJ’s card on it and Apple Pay and I can’t use it. Seriously considering refunding my membership I went to BJ’s for the convenience of self check out and Apple Pay.
Deals on bulk stuff obviously but very disappointed in their bakery compared to the store in Lancaster. Both times I’ve been here half the fresh bakery products muffins, danishes etc have fruit flies inside the packaging. Makes you not want to buy them even if you do find a pack you can’t see any bugs in they could still bump in there somewhere
Terrible customer service. I spoke to someone on the phone about ordering something online. She was not friendly and was giving me one word answers. Also couldn't believe that I cannot order something online and have it shipped to the store. She did not even attempt to assist me with what I was trying to purchase. I suppose its safe to assume that if you are a paying member you are just paying for the option of purchasing things in bulk, not service.
