I lost my precious son Feb 16. The Selby’s took care of my dad 15 years ago so compassionately.I knew they sold the Funeral Home...but God just directed my steps there.I curled up on a couch and cried to Kara.Her kindness, compassion cant be matched.She was there 24/7 for our family...we never had an appt...sometimes I just stopped in to cry...there she was.She redid the Slide Presentation too many times to count bc pictures were coming in from everywhere.She redid the Service Program as we kept making changes.She arranged t... read more

Attended service last November. Very professional staff. Saw to all of the Family’s requests, and carried out the service with all details covered. Military and Civic memorabilia on display for reminisce. In Memoriam video with music was a great addition. Highly recommend their services.

Bixby Funeral Service recently handled my sister's services. She was 54 yrs old with special needs, the youngest of 5 children and the love and light of our family. The whole staff at BFS could not have been more attentive to our grief. When the stress of handling it all was overwhelming, the BFS staff wrapped this huge warm blanket around my family with their calm, concern & professionalism. We will be forever grateful to them for their help in getting us through one of the most painful & difficult times of our lives.

They were absolutely phenomenal with my mother-in-law. They really personalize her life, and make it all about the person that passed away. They really incorporate things that most funeral homes do not. The staff is kind, hard-working, and so generous of their time. They really care about you, and want what is best for you and your family at the time.
Jody and Kara and their staff eased our family through the process from start to finish after my mother-in-law’s passing. They were kind, compassionate, and accommodating at every turn, and they were easily reachable for all our questions. Jody presented a beautiful service, and he and Kara added surprising personal touches that my mother-in-law would have adored. They really go above and beyond to make a difficult time a bit easier.
