Found a Groupon for The Bitter End and decided to give them a try while visiting Portland. The bar is very close to the Portland Timbers stadium and could easily see myself checking this place out before or after a game. The atmosphere is nice and was pretty chill when we went in, granted it was in the middle of a weekday. The bartender/main server was very friendly, gave us some great recommendations for local beers on tap, and even gave some great suggestions for local breweries to check out while we are in town. The bitter end is outstanding! New ownership is first class. Great food and atmosphere. Very cool vibe for the portland area. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great neighborhood pub.
This place just reopened with brand new owners. I had one of the best burgers I've had in a long time there. And I'm from Kansas so I know my beef. Overall the place is SO much cleaner. Super convenient location close to the MAX and Jeld Wen Field/Providence Park. I'm excited to go back and try the rest of the menu!
