Love this place! Great spot for sitting down with friends and family for a nice meal. Chef Brittany creates amazing dishes!
We loved it. Went for restaurant week after reading all the menus online. My husband had his heart set on something in the special menu. I have loads of dietary restriction and couldn't find anything in the special or the regular menu that wouldn't need a ton of customization. I messages them ahead of time and explained and they had something special made up just for me that fit my diet perfectly. Went here tonight with my husband. Our two pasta dishes were very good. One of the better restaurants in the downtown area . We plan on visiting again
Had a very nice meal last evening with another couple. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. We each had a drink or two for 2 of us (2 for 1 special house wines & beer), and the Conversation appetizer & we were offered additional bread to come out even with the excellent toppings. Tried this restaurant tonight for the first time and it was outstanding! Had the macaroni cheese bites for an appetizer, followed by the coffee rubbed blade steak that was absolutely delicious!! Had to try a dessert, so we chose the carmelized coconut chocolate cake...wow!! Definitely recommend Bistro on the River!!
