Being from Chicago I have struggled to find a fun lively place with fresh food, good ambiance and an eclectic mix of patrons- well done !
Voted the best new restaurant of 2015 in the Detroit Free Press Readers Choice awards, we returned to Bistro 82 in Royal Oak to enjoy a luscious dinner. The service here is excellent with water glasses promptly and discreetly refilled, and dishes whisked away after you are politely asked if you have finished. The food is absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately, poor customer service. They cancelled our Valentine's Day reservations we made 3 weeks prior because they over booked, with no compensation. Disappointing. We chose to go to another restaurant on the top new restaurants in Detroit.
Really nice place and friendly staff. I highly recommend the french onion dumplings. Excellent service and atmosphere!
