If I could rate this practice lower than 1 star I would. This is the most unprofessional office I have ever encountered and the lack of professionalism is astounding and it is affecting my son getting the help he needs due to an incorrect diagnosis given to me on the paperwork and Dr. Bisht refuses to fix or even contact me about. It's impossible to call the office. Nobody answers or returns your calls. Imagine having an issue with your child's prescription and you need to get ahold of them to call it into a different pharmacy but for 4 days...no answer. You're child runs out of medication and you're stuck watching them go through terrible withdrawal symptoms and there is nothing you can do to help them. It's not the Dr...it's the office. Dr. Bisht is caring, emphatic and thorough. Say what you want, not every doctor or therapist is for you. She went to the root of my problem, gave me the medication I needed to make me better and able to live with my anxiety and depression. I like her, very knowledgeable and good!
You need to get beyond her quirkiness as she really cares about you. She is rarely on time so be prepared to sit for a while. IF she would just ask the pertinent questions your appointment would be quicker. She goes off of tangents and talks a lot and I mean a lot. You will get great care from her. So will the good you have to take the bad also.
We’ve been with her for about 3 years and she is the only person who listens, understands, takes time and has the families wellbeing at heart. She’s one of a kind. A little quirky and staffing was iffy for a while but now it’s much better. She works with you not against you.
She is never on time, and it's not because of other patients. I finally tried scheduling her first appt. of the day to avoid being after other patients, and she didn't even get to the office until at least 90 min. after my appt. time. I had to keep calling my boss and apologizing because I was so late getting back to work. She asked if I was planning to have children EVERY visit, after telling her repeatedly that I was UNABLE and how painful that was to me.
Also, Dr. Bisht really has no business being a doctor. There is definitely a language barrier, and as a result, I had to recount several traumas upon the first meeting. Another time, I had told her about my insomnia, and she told me to wait to see if it corrected itself by my next appointment. Of course, it didn't as this was a problem I had been dealing with since I was little. The following appointment, she had told me that I had said that I didn't want medication to help, which wasn't true.
Dr Bisht is a straight forward doctor who doesn't candy coat things. She will even ask the parent to hush so she can hear the patient talk to listen for anything abnormal. People keep leaving reviews that she is always late, yes she runs behind, but it's because she doesn't skimp on information and shove you out the door like your just her next paycheck. This woman legitimately cares about the people who go there. I would definitely recommend her, just schedule a little extra time around the apt
We only come here because this was where the family doctor referred us for my daughter's ADHD. The wait time is ridiculous. This visit we've been waiting for 50 minutes so far. Who knows how much longer because this long wait is typical. The services we've received really aren't great either. I don't recommend to anyone
