We just had our little girl here via C Section. The nurses did an amazing job of helping us and taking care of my wife and new baby girl. Ella was our babies nurse and she did fantastic. She was attentive and showed genuine care for us. I could not have and would not have asked for a better crew of nurses and doctors. I would recommend 10 times out of 10.
I had the most incredible birth experience at this hospital. Every single nurse that helped me–I wish I had written all their names down–every single one was so kind and just amazing. Every. Single. One. And I had a c section so I was there for a few days through different nurse rotations. The anesthesiologist, Derrick was also incredible, he kept me from panicking during the c section, and kept me distracted and calm during the epidural, it didn’t hurt at all. Gave birth to my first here and aside from what was out of the staffs control, had a good experience. I’m not super experienced with babies and all of the staff was really helpful when I had any questions or concerns. Ashlyn one of our RNs in labor in delivery was great. Alexandria one of my daughter’s nursery RNs was great too. There’s a few I can’t remember their names too, but honestly none of our nurses or PCTs were bad
This hospital does not believe in informed consent-or just plain consent.Absolutely nightmare birth experience here. From start to finish. The older emergency (male)ob was incredibly rude and did not respect my autonomy or my decisions. I was Forced into a C-section where I was assaulted in the OR. Left me in labour's for 14 hours with my cervical stitch still in without pain relief. I could have died. Snapped my epidural because they had been so forceful taking me back.
