Highly recommended. I had my son here and it was a wonderfully smooth experience from start to finish. Midwives are very knowledgeable and caring. Most insurance can help cover.
We’ve had all 3 of our Virginia babies born at home with Birthcare. The midwives are all fantastic, and the office staff is wonderful. It’s so nice to feel like everyone knows you and your history, as well as your family!
Birthed five of our children through Birthcare. Awesome and knowledgeable women! They are like family!!
The staff is always so super friendly and greets me by name when I walk in the door! so glad I found them to have my third little one with.
BirthCare provides exceptional woman-centered (and family-centered) care. I cannot recommend them highly enough for families seeking personalized, humanizing, and empowering care during pregnancy and childbirth.
I have given birth with BirthCare 8 times over the last 15 years. My babies have been delivered by 5 different midwives. I have had 5 home births and 3 clinic births. Each birth was different but the midwives have always been willing to listen to our needs and desires as a family. They have never been condescending or judgmental but rather always accommodating to our family. I consider this practice to be like family and highly recommend them to anyone considering a natural, mommy led birth experience.
The care and attention you get at every visit is what I value most. I came to BirthCare back in 2011, after I had visited my ob/gyn for the first time after learning that I pregnant. The doctor was very short and didn't seem to want to listen to me or answer my questions. I felt like I was being rushed out the door. So I did some research and found this amazing place and have never looked back. They have delivered both of my girls and I highly recommend!
I had a homebirth for my 2nd baby and had Annie and Claudia Booker (birth assistant but an amazing midwife as well) attend my birth. It was incredible, safe, warm, laughter-filled, LOVE FILLED...transformative...absolutely everything my husband and I had hoped for and more. From my first appointment to my follow-up visits, I felt cared for, seen and honored. They always welcomed our daughter at my checkups. This practice balances the latest medical know-how with the sacred art of midwifery. I still see this practice for my W... read more
Birthcare really does care. They have seen me through my last three homebirths, with deference and understanding. I welcomed them into my home with joy and affection, and trusted in their judgment, which allowed me to focus on my family and my baby in total peace. Their practice is a treasure, a gift to women in our area!
