Choosing Birth Roots Community Midwifery was one of the best decisions I made during my pregnancy. Corrine held space for me with such deep care and presence throughout every step of my journey. From the very first prenatal appointment, I felt seen, heard, and supported not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually, too. Corinne is truly trauma informed in every way and creates such a safe space - from moving slowly to asking for consent every step of the way. They give a highly personalized experience to all of their clients. Not only that, they are a safe space for queer and trans families and so passionate about the work they are doing. You can tell that they make careful, intentional decisions in every aspect of the care they deliver. They are such an amazing midwife!!

As a trans person, I was pretty worried about what this process would look like for me. I am so glad to have had the care I received. I am so grateful to have had my baby safely at home Corinne (and Juanita assisting.) Corinne is extremely and scientifically informed AND holistic. My spouse and I were extremely well supported by Corrine's practice and I feel I got high quality medical treatment in a cozy environment. I feel lucky to have had the experience I had. Being a t4t couple and having a trans midwife was an incredibl... read more
