I wish I knew the last name of my nurse so that I could give her a real shoutout. I know to her it was just another day on the job but I’m so incredibly grateful for my nurse, Ashley. I have severe health anxiety and anxiety in general and I truly do not know if I would have made it without her. I could not have had a better experience here; my delivery nurse, Lindsey, literally was an angel. She helped me with everything, made sure I was comfortable, when I was breaking down and felt like I couldn’t do it, she talked me through it and gave me the encouragement I needed. I could not thank her enough. My nurses afterwards, Peyton, Diana, and Alexyss, were also just heaven sent. They went above and beyond to help me and make sure I had everything I needed. I cannot say how much I loved my stay at the Birth Center. I had a rare case of Momo twins and had to stay for 6 weeks before I gave birth at 34 weeks. During my stay, the nurses were so sweet and extremely helpful and caring. The NICU team met with me to make sure I understood what was going to happen after delivery. I received weekly hour massages and felt like a princess. I was able to meet with a physical therapist to prepare me for movement after a c section. It’s taken me a little while to write this review, but I feel I need to share my experience. My son was born on January 24, 2024. Unfortunately, there were complications with his birth and he was diagnosed with Mild to moderate HIE and immediately taken to children’s mercy for cooling treatments. This was my second time at advent health delivering a baby. The first time was absolute heaven the nurses were wonderful however, this last time That was not the case. We delivered our baby girl here in July and had an incredible experience. Our labor nurse (Victoria) was attentive, kind, knowledgeable … just an absolute rockstar. Having her and my doctor deliver our baby was a dream. Everyone involved honored my wishes in my birth plan. I felt so comfortable and well taken care of during our time here. Our mother baby nurse (Emily) was amazing as well. She was gracious and helpful and made us feel so welcome and excited for this new chapter in our lives. A truly amazing experience.
